Thank you for visiting our new website for St Clement Danes the central church of the Royal Air Force.
The church is a perpetual shrine of remembrance to those who have died in service in the RAF. It is also a living church, prayed in and visited throughout the year by thousands of people seeking solace and reflection.
We hope you will visit us to enjoy the peace and tranquillity in our church and to see the rare artefacts and rich RAF history within this Sir Christopher Wren designed church.
In January we celebrate Epiphany, also known as Three Kings Day. This starts on the 6th January when the Maji were led to the baby Jesus by the bright star in the sky. It is a celebration of new beginnings, of hope and anticipation of what is to come in the future.
Our new website is also the start of a new beginning for St Clement Danes Church. We want to welcome more visitors in 2020, and we will be arranging many events and concerts over the coming months. Please do take time to look at our Events page to see what’s on.
As well as our new website, we also have new Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts, please do click on the links on the website and follow us for daily updates.
Each year ,we spend over £100,000 on maintenance and running costs to keep our beautiful church open for all to enjoy. Yet we do not receive any public funding to cover this. If you are able to make a donation no matter how much, you will be helping to preserve our Grade 1 historic church. You can make an on-line donation through the website, by post or via our contactless donation points within the Church.
Thank you so much, your support and donations are vitally important to us.
I wish you and your family a happy, peaceful and prosperous 2020.
