Rachaelwas also the recent first prize winner of the Delius Prize competition. Rachaelholds a first-class honours degree from Sydney Conservatorium of Music andmajor prizes from the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM).As a violinist, Rachael has performed with the Melbourne, Queensland, WestAustralian and Tasmanian Symphony Orchestras, Orchestra Victoria, the AucklandPhilharmonia, alongside members of the London Philharmonic and AustralianChamber Orchestras, at European music festivals, international concert halls, liveon ABC (Australian Broadcasting Company) Radio National and recorded newAustralian music for ABC Classic. Rachael is generously supported by theLeverhulme Arts Trust, The University of Sydney, the Ian Potter Cultural Trust andplays on a 1755 Nicolò Gagliano violin on loan from the Royal Academy of Music.\n
